Behind the patented invention and the protected trademark of ClicClac® hides a fixable decorative frame corner which allows an adjustment to the depth and form of diverse objects (such as frames and mirrors, for example). Different motifs can be fixed on these frame corners, allowing you to permanently create new decorative effects. ClicClac® can be distinguished above all by it's flexibility: ClicClac ® can be used not only as jewellery for frames, CD covers and computer screens, but also as a brooch and a decoration for candles.

The Austrian label ClicClac® also convinces in the USA: ClicClac® was distinguished with the Gold Medal for the most creative and most innovative invention at the INPEX (Invention/New Product Exposition), the world´s biggest fair of new product ideas wich took place in Pittsburgh on May 2001.

In the year 1997, ClicClac's founder Doris Taussig was wanting to decorate some old picture frames in her home… and she had an idea: why not create a removable, interchangeable decorative corner for her picture frames? She went in search of a goldsmith who created the first ClicClac for her. But that was not enough. Doris thought that if she was in need of some decorative elements for her picture frames there must be others out there with the same need. The goldsmith set to work again and after a lot of experimentation developed the prototype for a ClicClac suitable for commercial production. A simplified and elegant ClicClac® Corner was born, which at a first glance let's you forget the careful technique and the high precision used in production.
